rope swing

rope swing

A Poem by Ross Davison

un expected
heart heat and flushing.
her eyes, the warm pool,
her smile the rope swing.

grinning grabbing the
sunshine
rays,
between branches leafed
patterned glow,

with one glimpse,
the ride through the wind
brings
the moment in air
h

still,
motion less,
but soft,
her skins lush scent.

giddy
holler,
into
the
embrace
of her
presence,
her exhale tangible within the waters surface,

and I (want another)
swing,

even though
I just had my turn,
and I’m still,
soaked
he(in)r.

Beautiful poem. Lovely words, I find that this piece`s written in 2008 .. sounds interesting! Umm .. it`s seemed you`ve been away from this site since the long years. Anyway, glad to know that over this site, there`s too many talented writers surviving and yeah ... i`m pleased to know, you`ve been here since long. Hope to read your new stuffs if anytime you plan to drop at all. All the best and yeah, Welcome back if you come back to this site!

Take care!

I absolutely love your signature "layout" of poetry. It is so refreshing to see someone carry their own style without any hesitation. You are a pioneer of poetry!
