fall... overA Poem by Ross Davison
heat kicks on grumble
whir
in
glasses raised
sipping cheers
velvet ribbons red stuffing so
warm gloves 'n hats, scarf
down sifting cranberries thru
my teeth.
so missing
conversations long
drunken
giggle
friends flirt the jovial
poke
at your glimmering
glossy
eye
sparkling cider 'n apple tarts.
she eggnogs my mouth
in
shower steam breath,
lipping passion so soft
between lash flutter batter,
that i
miss her lips already,
the moment we part.
i hung mistletoe
two years since it hangs,
without a kiss
under
you.
