Roseau needs to Dance!

just an essay from Freshmen English. Describing what my town could come up with for something better for the people to do!

             "Hey, Emilee, do you know a good way Eric and I can hang-out just as friends for now?"

          "No. maybe you guys could go to the movies," Emilee replied.

          "Nah, that's too awkward. Roseau needs more dances!" I remarked.

        To begin with, a dance club would get kids off their butts to exercise. With so many kids these days becoming obese, it's just what every town needs. It would also get kids to have less time for alcohol and drugs. I'm sure a lo of adults have become concerned about their teens getting into those wrong crowds, but it's almost impossible to avoid them with nothing else to do.

        Next off, I'm actually feeling bad because Jay is always working so hard to have parties just to let us teens have fun. It's just ridiculous when we could just have a dance club to go to when us teens are bored. I don't see any other parents trying to help let the teens of Roseau have fun! He might be willing, but it's just not fair for Jay to be the only one working on this situation.

        Lastly, it would actually be an awesomely wicked place to go hang-out with friends and to be able to go on those dates without all those awkward silences. Then we could always have an excuse to go hang-out with our friends on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, without our parents bugging all the information out of us!

        In summary, Roseau really needs a dance club to keep kids off the reef (drugs), make it so Jay doesn't have to put in all the effort for us crazy teens, and no one has to deal with those awkward silences anymore. Let's all convince Roseau County that we teens need a fun dance club.

This writing paints a clear message and makes valid points on what it is you desire (A dance club being built) there are many places that don't have things teens can do so it makes things a little harder for them not to die from complete boredom lol. Good write
