herculean

herculean

A Poem by rosieect
"

nineteen years // how i fell apart

"

Are these my labours?

Herculean, insurmountable tasks

That I must overcome

To have a bright future?

In this moment

I feel like I am constantly pushing a boulder uphill

Although some days

I let it slide down

And rest heavy on my chest

I like the feeling

Of not being able to breathe

Drowning

But like always

I pull myself out

And push the boulder up the hill
