In the RiftA Poem by Rosie BrooklinI've had dreams about dying for the past two nights. It might be my time
Yesterday, I buckled my seatbelt
Today, I took a shower. Death is no longer appealing to me But it's a nearby looming tower Why is it that when I can finally waltz With pure joy, hope, and love That death decides to stop the music And ensnare my soul from up above. When the waltz is over, I want you to know That I never thought I would dance again. You were the rainbow after a storm You are a sky I can die in.
