![]() Sinful LoveA Poem by Rosie Brooklin
I'm in love with your coffee eyes.
I drink them in with three creams, three sugars, and a cigarette, while we plan the day ahead of us. If this was my eternity, I'd be blissfully content, because you are my heaven. You are also the earth beneath my feet, providing stability in the midst of my flooded mind. I've always had an affinity for chaos, yet I fight for peace. My heart's dichotomy finds rest in you. Night falls upon us; I adore your whiskey stare. Please stay a while, so I may have a sip. We'll be much more acquainted in the morning, and we'll indulge in coffee and a cigarette, as we forget that it ever happened.
