Concave for Comfort

Concave for Comfort

A Poem by katie

Foggy

Struggling and straining vision

When eyes first open

To experience the day

Malleable plastic

Which aides said eyes

A chore

A blessing

A reliance

Masking the reality

That broken eyes

Connect with a broken mind.

Go through motions

Aided by falsehood

Only to remove the lies

Before committing without choice

To repeat it all again tomorrow

I live in Baltimore. This year of my life feels like I am constantly morphing; it is exhausting and exciting all at once. I love learning, feeling alive, writing, and keeping records of my experiences.. more..
