Fairies

Fairies

A Poem by roses101

Hello and welcome to my playground. There are a couple of rules that must be followed: keep your mind on the ride at all times and please don't have fun.
We try to welcome you to the wonderland we call home. The main stage is next to the fairy go around, across from the gate to hell. I kid, I kid.
Actually, the gate leads to the tunnel of love. Where the murky waters and low lighting will be sure to enlist fear, driving all lovers of every age into our waiting arms.
The outside of our playground is in much the same taste. We like to call or place the shooting range all our guests are the moving targets. You are the sitting ducks in our little game of life.
Who are we, you ask. We are the darkness in your dreams; your never ending nightmare. We are the dark fairies. With wings that flow like ink and swallow the light of day with skin that makes porcelain dolls look tenebrous.

Beautiful. I felt kind of nervous, there was an undercurrent of tension that made all the light hearted parts definitely creepy. At first I wasn't sure which way it would go and then there was no question at all. Well written, thank you.
