Feeling

When the lights dim from the sky

And there’s a chill in the air,

 That is when I can feel it

 

When the leaves fall

And the world is more red then green

That is when I can feel it

 

When I see snow cover the ground

And people as pale as ghosts

That is when I can feel it

 

When the moon lowers to touch the sea

And the sun has stopped rising

That is when I feel nothing

 

That is when time has stopped

That is when I have stopped

That is when I have stopped feeling

I suck at poetry. This just happens to be one of the better poems I have written.

You most certainly do not suck at poetry and I’m sure you don’t believe that…maybe you’re selling yourself short in case someone doesn’t like it! I liked it, so your trick didn’t work :)
I prefer the first 3 stanza’s to the last 2…
