When I saw you through that window

My heart went boom boom boom

Holding back your sight just trilled me

As my eyes just zoom zoom zoomed

 

Oh my god I gasp for air

As I sneek out to the door

Blood is rushing from my head

Just cant believe just who I saw

 

Old flame were have you been

Its been years but now im old

Just want to run into your arms

Just like i did, when we were young

 

Our first kiss, was full of bliss

So soft and passionate.

Let me catch my breath once more

As I slowly reminise

 

I was sixteen You were to

We were as solid as gold

Two teens in love

The greatest love story ever told

 

Then the day came

When I had to go away

Mother moved so very far

She could not let me stay

 

I still have your letters

Sealed in my box of love

Although they just stopped coming

You stayed in my heart for good

 

Old flame, do I let you pass me by

Will I reget not saying hello

Would I know what to say after all this time

Dam it! im going

First love is that warm and might be-could be love .. we learn things, how to, how not to - and how to care more than we ever thought possible.. then try - not always successfuly, to remember its sweet rules for the rest of our lives! I can remember the first kiss, wrote about it, posted somewhere on here.. twas gorgeous! Thank you for sharing.

I love this poem. its funny how we still love the old flames from the teen age years. My first gf added me on facebook. shes married and have kids. im happy for her. she helped changed who I am today :) i thanked her. great piece
