a full circle

a full circle

A Poem by rosemary keogh

As a child she felt no love.

Her mother and father figure

 were caught up in drugs.

Often left to defend for herself,

so lonely a child she was.

As a teen she was wild.

Partied so hard throughout the nights.

Always attracting the wrong sort of

 crowds, with no guidance

from loved ones. For her

. There were no bounds.

As a young lady she walked

 the streets, in the night.

Selling herself for drug money,

 losing respect for her life.

Bearing children for all different men,

she start’s the circle all over again.

A tale of the "lost"...
from any "where" there ever is.

Timeless.

Very interesting. And it's so sad. It does happen in real life...
wonderful work with this piece though.
