The young boy and the rabbit

The young boy and the rabbit

A Poem by rosemary keogh

Fluffy the rabbit lost his way from home.

Feeling lonely and upset he roamed the streets alone.

Never knowing if he would ever, have another decent meal.

His little heart was breaking. His human he did need.

A young boy and his friends were walking home from school.

When they seen this little rabbit, been attacked this looked so cruel.

Cats snared around the rabbit, about to go in for the kill.

When the young boy let a shout, move off away from here!

The little fluffy rabbit was shaking so nervously.

When the young boy picked him up and wrapped

him up securely. He calmed the rabbit down

as he rubbed his shiny fur, and said I shall call you

fluffy until we find out who you are.

The young boy and the rabbit set off to the

young boys home. Were the young boy made

a promise to the rabbit he never again would

be alone.

I like the story. Children should run the world. Give love and care without thoughts. Thank you for the excellent story.
