Everything Comes in Threes

Everything Comes in Threes

A Poem by Rose of Gondor

A question, a “yes”

And a diamond ring

Two lovers are engaged

Everything comes in threes

So raise your glass

And sing with me

Drink to blissful union

Everything comes in threes

The music, the bouquet

And walking down the aisle

The threshold is crossed

Everything comes in threes

So raise your glass

And sing with me

Drink to courage

Everything comes in threes

The vows, a kiss

An exchange of rings

And they’re declared man and wife

Everything comes in threes

So raise your glass

And sing with me

Drink to the newlyweds

Everything comes in three

The husband, the wife

And their sweet child

Make one happy family

Everything comes in threes

So raise your glass

And sing with me

Drink to a happy future

Everything comes in threes

Their hands were twined

Smiles graced their lips

They grew old together

Everything had come to an end

So raise your glass

And sing with me

Drink to eternal love that lasts

All the ages of the world

Everything comes in threes
