I am Morgana le FayeA Poem by Rose of GondorMany names Have I been called, Over these long years. Lady. Traitor. Witch. Faye. But all I did Was protect What was left Of my family. I never meant Any harm And yet they all come My plans undone I had a dream A hopeful wish Maybe someday I’ll be Known at last To some I am invisible To others a great evil My name used To scare children The young children of Camelot The older ones Well, they don’t care. I admire their spunk And wish I could be like them Maybe then I could redeem My name And become esteemed Too late now No turning back What’s done is done The legend is set I am Morgana le Faye © 2012 Rose of GondorAuthor's Note
