I am Morgana le Faye

Many names

Have I been called,

Over these long years.

 

Lady.

Traitor.

Witch.

Faye.

 

But all I did

Was protect

What was left

Of my family.

 

I never meant

Any harm

And yet they all come

My plans undone

 

I had a dream

A hopeful wish

Maybe someday I’ll be

Known at last

 

To some I am invisible

To others a great evil

My name used

To scare children

 

The young children of Camelot

 

The older ones

Well, they don’t care.

I admire their spunk

And wish I could be like them

 

Maybe then

I could redeem

My name

And become esteemed

 

Too late now

No turning back

What’s done is done

The legend is set

 

I am Morgana le Faye

Morgana would be proud of your work, maybe not you depiction, but certainly your skill in painting an honest portrait of her. I guess we are left with making up our minds about her....nay...yay...or Fay..
