The Prayer of Atlantis

The Prayer of Atlantis

A Poem by Rose of Gondor

I kneel before thee,

Humble before thy majesty.

Hoping thou shalt hear

This, my humble prayer.

I heard thy words,

It is not too late.

Thy anger shall fade,

When we renew our faith.

Yet in our insolence,

Instead of love,

We gave thee hate.

But canst thou blame us?

Sung with thy blessing

My prayer to thee

They people is in fear

They’ve chosen to flee

Hear my prayer

This last plea:

Do not give Atlantis away

To the sea
