Sun

Sun

A Poem by Rose of Gondor

Sometimes I wonder

How I’ll juggle all this

All the different colors in my life

The different elements

Burdens weigh me down

Soaking me with heavy rain

And sometimes I think there’s no time

To live, to breathe

I don’t know how I’ll carry on

Sometimes the air is so close

So suffocating, so dull

Every day it’s the same

So much to do and think

Dragging dully through the days

All the while dreaming

Dreaming of a better place

So tired, so painful

Will anything good come out of this?

Maybe someday, somewhere

When the sun shines brighter

But I learned something

In those dragging days

I learned something valuable

Something to keep forever and treasure

And it was that

When the storm blows strongest

When the night is darkest

Keep faith close to your heart

Faith is a treasure

If you believe that you can

Hold up the weight of the sky

If you believe in the sun

I know these feelings well... Life seemes to be a loop played over and over... That is why we must take risks somettimes to shake things up.
