ClearBlueYouA Poem by rose loyapoem
The wind is hot
the sun is still her gaze is steady, but somber 'til the days of March come back to cool us and somehow give back what would kill us. The cane she needs is never used. It stays inside with me and you. 'Til she can one day march with fools again and give back what would bruise us. I write my letters, and send my image across these oceans so love can damage what moves to take from you and I. At least today I have not cried. Last night a memory came back in dreams. It broke a levee, making new streams of pain and joy and love and you. In clear, blue liquid, in clear, blue you and you're a boy who loves and holds me you don't let go 'til waking unfolds me to the floor confused i'm drying my cheeks from tears that betray lies I use to clear up any doubts in those who love me. Where are you now? You brightened up my every vowel your spirit wrote in me, a dowel to flow thru fingers, stain my pen, with all your colors, paint my den 'til Agora's phobia turned to vapor to smell like glory and peel like paper by you dampened, emerged with charm that from love surged to ease my arms. A vacuum sits behind my chair, it's full of dust and i don't care. i'll get a new one i'll rake my leaves and wait for new sun to bring to me the clear, blue you who left but loved me who's grant was new but still would rub me and feel like sunshine, to gleam like gold, my shine unwind endlessly bold and warm the levee from cooler streams of pain and joy and love from me to you and you to I in clear, blue liquid in clear, blue skies. my ClearBlueYou, your love is I. written by Rose Loya (c) Copyright 2016
