Thoughts in my head one morningA Story by R. CygnetThe title is self-explanatoryI stayed up late again. Or if you look at it another way, I'm up early. I watched the sunrise from my window, by accident. Lots of birds chirped. Such a stark contrast from the stillness of just minutes ago. An airplane passed by far, far overhead, further breaking the night's spell. My stomach growled in unison with the plane. Should I get up and go to the fridge? I might wake her up. My mom. She'll be mad. She'll ban me from the internet. But she'll probably forget. I almost chuckled out loud when I remembered that time when...shh. There wasn't much in the fridge. I let the cool air blow around me before I shut the door. Everything went dark. I opened the fridge again for its yellow light. My stomach complained. But there really wasn't anything to eat. So I went to sleep. © 2009 R. CygnetAuthor's Note
