Disturbed

Disturbed

A Poem by Rosauro Brillantes
"

A haunting... ?

"
"Come to me." said a voice in her head
She looked around in her room, and all the lights just went dead
Something haunted the air, and it suddenly went cold
Something was bound to happen. She just waited for it to unfold.
It called out her name, but not a soul in the room
A sudden shift in her thoughts created disturbance and gloom
A cold hand on her skin made her jump out of bed
It felt like rotting flesh, which told her this thing was dead
She screamed out for help but her parents were gone
Alone in the house, the evil was able to spawn
So she ran towards the door and reached for the knob
Her chest started to ache. Her heart started to throb
But as she reached her exit, she felt a force so strong
She was now in the his world now, but she knew she did not belong
The spirit collapsed her to the floor and it left her in a bend
Dragged her to the closet to never be seen again
