I WantA Poem by Rosauro BrillantesAn old poem for an ex
I don't know how to say this
I want to do it good I can't keep running away from things It's like I live my life in the hood I want us to go far away Or to an exotic place And look at you and see that glow When you put that smile on your face I want to give you fine things To compliment your fine frame So when people ask where you get these fine things You'll just have to mention my name You have no idea how much I think of you And how I want to make you happy I know there are other ways to make you like me Than writing poems that are sappy I will do whatever it takes So that in the morning when I rise I find you to be asleep by my side And feel a warm surprise I hate how I have to miss Because we're miles apart I only have your scent and thoughts to keep you alive And it really breaks my heart I want to make lots of money Or even enough just to get by I know this is a silly thought I want you to see me as super fly There's so many things I want So that your day is always filled with joy So many things that I'll work hard for So you see me as a man and not a boy We both have our dreams That we want to chase and pursue So many things in this list That I just want to do with you You are very special to me Did you know you saved my world? So many things I'm proud of But most of all to say your my girl © 2009 Rosauro BrillantesReviews
