Remember?

Remember?

A Poem by Rosauro Brillantes
"

A random piece that I wrote one day when I was feeling down

"
The pressure in my mind builds the stress
You're a summer beauty when you wear a dress
And take your hand as soft as silk
Drink down your love like thirst for milk
Trespass in land to each we dare
Strangers in bed, in eyes we'd stare
Catch a glimpse of tear you'd roll
Take burden's pain from your soul
With small blue bottle contain a scent
Samll fact by smell, you're heaven sent
No words describe an altered thought
Words your heart speaks has been caught
And stroll a dim place one year past
Deja vu of pain comes fast
Back in time caught in a box
Law of life holds all the locks
Only happiness from without
From within lingers doubt
And think, just maybe I will see
An ounce of love but small discrete
When in the sky which rose so high
Look down the lights which flicker by
The one I loved - embraced in arms
From the cold - don't be alarmed
So many things will cross and trigger
A larger love, in turn, makes pain bigger
Just thankful for the memories cast
The love we shared, inside me, will last
