A Fallen Star

A star fell from the sky,
on to my floor.

It was one i had wished on
once, before.

Curiosity wanted to open it,
and see what it said.
But the devil in me,
well, she couldnt care less.

Instead i took a lighter,
and I set it on fire.
I swept away the ashes
and I started new

Not bad. I like the idea of it and all the meanings I can think up for it. Though, all of them probably over thought and complicated beyond what is probably necissary, but I can't help it I suppose. Nicely done.
