Those who give of themselves do it because they are bound by the need to. Sometimes the scars from this run very deep. They tell themselves they will not do it again. They will remain aloof, a spectator in life. Yet they can not turn off that "care" button. And all the words they told themselves die when they see someone in need.. Of a smile, of their strength, their support, a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold, a warm meal or a bed for a night. This need to nurture.. Should they turn their back on it, they may actually find the pain much worse than three nails and a cross..

Sorry, I chattered on here.. Just found a lot of meaning in this write. :)

I have always been mesmerized by flames so the picture is beautiful and tranquil. The other very striking thing about this is the line; Give me pain young flame...hurt me....I will bear the pain,
This line painted an image in my mind of despair, a willingness to submit to pain and fire ---I liked the imagery and as I am discovering about you, your mind is an intriguing place to travel in to. :)
