A maiden's musing in the moonsoon season

A maiden's musing in the moonsoon season

A Poem by poetry-kiddo alienbaba
"

A maiden's musing in the moonsoon season

"
Boy oh boy doesn't it feel so cool to feel the raindrops oh so cold..
And for a tiny moment I forgot the sun whose been  aflame since days of old
Boy oh boy, tell me how will it feel to make a sailboat in the sky
A new UFO whizzing over your head as you watch me flying by

A little drop of rain will make your evening feel so nice
So here I go and throw to the sunspots a little cube of ice
Monsoon winds will bring respite and reward your sacrifice
Watering our emerald fields to grow our crop of rice

Blanket of a greenish hue spread around my lovely land
The sounds of crickets ring in the night while dainty trees do bend
Fluorescent the Glow-worms glow with fire-flies hand in hand
If you want my peace of mind I'll be only too glad to send

And here comes the rain, pouring in mighty showers
 Raining out my misery
 Here comes the rain!
Here comes the rain, in it's mighty power
But the Sun got a crush on me
Here come the rain!!
