Aint a nice feelin to be unceremoniously "blocked"

Shud I shut my trap and move on?

Or should I worry about them when I'm gone?

Who would block you, brother? What would they do that for?
If unintentionally I should do it I would worry, I would definitely weep.
If I pressed the wrong button and the world blew up,
I would take up biting my fingernails and what's more
I would seriously lose a lot of sleep

ha I could have used this two months ago when I was shocked to find that someone I thought was a friend blocked me for no apparent reason! After being here over two months now, I've come to the conclusion, there are frootloops and quackers everywhere, not just real life....makes life interesting I suppose. Besides, who doesn't like aliens? Geez!!!

Its not like I am complaining but then....being blocked by one is fine...no regrets...specially after someone apologises to me....lol...and then blocks me......well its like saying im sorry and then u shoot me....like a cowboy story...and then they go on and tell thier friends to block me too....and then the blocks are...ach ...viral! and the new bloskers dont have a clue why they are blocking who they are blocking...
But I mglad I still have you all!

Been there, thought this. Even if the person isn't a close friend, being blocked just doesn't feel right--and if they used to be close, it hurts even more. We were talking about this in an English class of mine, the idea that deleting someone off facebook is like the modern version of burning someone's picture, that it's a piece of them that is being lost or destroyed. It's a neat but scary concept. We all want to feel special, or at least not block-worthy. Interesting layout, and nice work! I'm personally not a big fan of exclamation marks in poetry, but they seem to work here.

I shoot my mind when I should be cooling my heels ....in my blanket or in a rooster pen...lol
and I land in trouble.
Now I like what you said about we like to feel special...yes...attention is what draws me like a moth to this community...I am a showman after all...I am sorry I don't know about Exclamation marks not being used in poetry ...but I will be more careful now on!

Haha, oh no, exclamation marks work for some; I just meant for me, but I really like the way you wrote this. It's very original. After all, not everything has to be done in template format. ;) So no worries there. Thanks, I'm glad my review was helpful/interesting. I came here for a similar reason; we all would like to have some feedback and attention for our writing; nothing wrong with that. Keep on writing!
