The naked eye

The naked eye

A Poem by rootsoup

memorize these lines...
...
one, catch the ball.
two, dive deep into the pool.
three, power-house a hunting spear.
four, constriction thereafter; souvenir be gone!
and lastly, homage furnish-worthy venial platelet--truth beneath you??
beneath a treasure chest.

That's where the huntress waits; looking for the best meal of the season.

Narwhals gather atop a whirlpool summit, minimalists, they do their daily tactic on a Tuesday.
Forget the picture book  and follow the dream down the alley-way to the brass steeple where the lioness sits in regal fashion.

Alchemist to her left.
Mars rover to her right.

THUNDERCLAPP--
echoes of steel voices . darkness spreads over town houses leaving blotted tongue, black leaches knocking, pounding at the neighbor's door...
slip into the wishing well.

And clatter fiercely rings, the bell dissolves the darkness into bright white atoms falling up into the sky like puffballs to the naked eye.
