The Essence of Man

The Essence of Man

A Poem by Jonathan Ronley

Even if uttered by none; It is the essence of man. Erecting castles in the sky, For the sensation of an eye. Speaking of things unheard; Speaking of nothing if not cultured, For a false praise of the unamused, For the vanity of a name in the aeon captured.
