Life – In the Search of Happiness

Life – In the Search of Happiness

A Story by Ron Ledger
"

Happiness is not in doing what you love. Happiness is talking to person whom you love. Life is not about to search for Happiness. Life is spending time with whom you love.

"

Life, It’s just a four letter word. But whenever I think about it’s doesn’t brings happiness in my face. Being a 22 year old guy, there is lot of things in my mind regarding future. How it will be ? Like my father? Like my grandfather or something different. Whatever it will be, why these things bothers me. Is’t same with all the youth or it’s just me.

Moving from small town Patna to Delhi and then Bangalore was a hard choice. I did, I did for my happiness but now where is that happiness ?? I was born in the middle class serviceman family. Ohh!! It’s better to say middle class family because my father lost his job in 2003. Yes’ you heard it right and case is still pending in Patna High Court from 2003 (Indian Judicial System!!!). In my family there are seven members including five siblings and I am the smaller one. Who just grew as with every facility that a middle class family can give, CBSE Schools, Computers, Mobile Phones, Tuitions, Delhi lifestyle and College with education loan. Unfortunately, this is not true with my elder brother and sisters. I am the second most educated person after my grandfather. At times it all looks good, But it gives extra responsibility. I wasn’t aware about the things. May be I wasn’t grown up that time. Was I ?

No, I was aware of the everything, I was well aware of family financial condition. But how can said that ‘Papa i don’t want to study because your financial condition is not well enough.’ I was like hope for him, whatever he was doing is only for me. The way he feels proud about me after completing my post-graduation. Someone said right happiness bring misery. I was happy in my job, happy is not right word. You can say satisfied and that left me in the quest of finding my satisfaction. So now, I will do my Phd in Bioinformatics. So left job in and moved to Bangalore. A city that eats money. All my savings gone in just three months and there is no sign of stipend from last three months. If the government and systems were little better than the lots of problem will have already resolved. This is very small thing but this will not resolved until we take the initiative to change the government.

So, tomorrow I have ask for money from my father to continue my PhD work or until I get my stipend. Hope he still feels proud of me.
