Sing within me muse

I Think this will only be pleasing for those who know Ancient literature

Sing in me muse the grey eyed daughters of zeus

bring me a prayer because theres no way out of here

i am cowardly and courageous at the same time

but i fear i don't have the strength to make out

My friends all dead my love all gone hardship has made my heart break

it was there fault to choose what they ate, i have had faith in you for so long

let me make my libations and let me set sail for you oh gods of the old can save me now

i am so far gone these treasures i dont want i only want to be in my love's arms

If i make it home i will offer a hekatomb or two just set aside for you 

The embers inside my heart are still smoldering but losing heat

His past and my past are the same for i am he what more should i endure just to see my own town

once more i have done nothing for you have done much for me so i plead you to just end it all and save myself and my love the downward spiral fall

Wow, There is a very uneek voice in this pice and I sencs in this, a bit of old testyment.
I would have work a bit on the pace of the pice, so it might read better. You say you write song, so you must know about beats, 4/4, 3/4, 2/4 and so on. You had some moments, I wondered where this was going. Good work. Thanks, Joe

Beautifully written. I love how you use mythology. Sometimes mythology is the only thing that can inspire me. I love the first line and I love the line "The embers inside my heart are still smoldering but losing heat." really great job :)

My muse sings only when in a downward spiral. It's funny how these mythological creatures can hold so much life...so much inspiration! If I put a smile on her face...she refuses to write. I don't know what's wrong with her...so I don't question her antics..I just go with the flow.
