Always WelcomeA Poem by Ronald J ChapmanThis poem is written for the beautiful country of South Korea and it's wonderful people. They will always welcome you with open arms and never ask for a "Thank You".Always Welcome
I will never ask for a "Thank You."
Even in thousands or tens of thousands of times like this, You do not have to say, "Thank You" to me.
In the moonless darkness of words, the dreamers seek. Beyond this moment of longing the song writers rejoice! Even in thousands or tens of thousands of times like this. I will never ask for a “Thank You.”
This Miracle the cold Bukhan Mountain of this beautiful, Seoul. The children seek to climb. On the cold mountains of this miracle the old ones dream. Even in thousands or tens of thousands of times like this. You do not have to say, "Thank You" to me.
No truth ever spoken was truer than this. Write your words of wisdom in song on the bathroom wall. Looking for any sign of shelter. This wisdom carved in to a brick of white and silver. Even in thousands or tens of thousands of times like this. I will never ask for "Thank You" to be said.

You will need to know something about Korea and it's culture to understand this poem.
But you still may enjoy reading these words. |

Your poem reminds me of a hill near my childhood home & one of my friends used to have the notion that he'd pass the exams after climbing it..sense of freedom, freshness, etc I understood but what miracle it whispered in his ears, was beyond my contemplation...this Bukhan mountain is cold, the words have dark shadow but the heart promises unconditional love... Very nice poetry..

Your poem is amazing and I love it! South Korea truly is a beautiful place filled with beautiful and kind people. Both the topic and your writing make this a great read! I posted my first poem today and I'd appreciate it if any of you could review. I'll review a few of each of your poems/stories as well. I hate to advertise on this but not sure how else I could get reviews? In fact I wish I could write something of this quality. Specifically a review from you would be great!
