A hundred pieces.

A hundred pieces.

A Poem by ron

A hundred pieces.

A hundred times my heart broke,
in shards of spent love that could never be put back together.

Alone I slink into the darkness,
afraid to love again.

A hundred pieces of my heart,
stepped and trampled on.

Taken for granted...
I will only know love as the darkest cruel joke it is.

That's true. Times when we are too heart broken to ever love again...A very relatable and nice poem!
