How could love endA Poem by ronHow
could love end
On
a spring winters day, my
heart sighed and loved.
The
meadows sprang forth flowers that sighered my love for you.
You
looked away when my heart beat strongest, you
took your lips that caressed mine as you blushed, and
ran.
My
heart still beats for the look in your eyes, my
heart pauses for a love that will never be.
A
kiss never given is more torturous, than
a kiss brushed in the heat of the moment.
I
sit in this darkness that you made, I
softly kiss the air in the hopes that your lips will be there.
A
thousand heart beats I have waited, a
thousand moments you took from my heart, a
thousand feelings have past unto dust.
For
you I will wait a thousand heart beats, a
thousand lives, a
thousand cherry blossoms…
Held
in a waterfall of the most beautiful Hue of blue, your
eyes hold life deep within.
As
my tears fall across my cheek, I
know you have found another.
I
will never know love in its purest emotion, I
will never know loves heartbeat, its
soft kiss, the
embrace of another.
I
will never know love.
