Pictish love story
On battlefield they stood tall, in life they loved in the shadows, a family they would die for, so is the Pictish way.
So from the hills and glens the Clans did come, they came for all of Scotland to see.
They came to see if a new Chieftain could hold the piece, and lead their people in war and love.
Roundabout the Clan Chieftains formed the circle, roundabout the circle was drawn, fashioned in Pictish glory and honor.
Two worriers were chosen, unbeknownst to the world they both shared each
other’s heart.
In childhood they grey to know each other, they now stood face to face within the grand Pictish
circle.
An accord was made with only a glance.
One should fall while the other would rise.
On the full moons light, with torches casting a dim glow of death and love over
the circle, the two did fight until the death, to save the glory of the Picts.
Be not sad for the one who fell that glorious night, for the two of them met an accord, and both live out a life of love for each other… even if it was a secret that afforded both a chance
for a life of love and peace.
In the faint early mornings mist you can hear their
children play, and the words of love spoken.
One fainted death so the other may rule.
One ruled in the shadow of love, for the father of their children.
