And into a new light I was bornA Poem by ronAnd
into a new light I was born
Look
into my eyes, look
into my soul.
My
soul looks back on a full moons light… ravished, torn, bleeding, begging
to be forgiven for the crimes of things never known.
Take
me back and wake me up, take
what you will and cry to the moon, for
my soul.
In
this cave you created I will hide.
I
take what you gave me in my darkest of times, and
make more of my life than you told me I could ever be.
So
wake up and understand my life was more than you ever knew, it
was more than life told you it was.
When
I am down and out, I
look to Shangri-La, for
that is the place that accepts the horror I have become.
Shangri-La
does not judge man for what they have done, but
judges man for what he could be.
Break
me free in the horizon, make
the coming of the sunrise mean more than it was.
Make
life worth living, make
it worth the trials and tribulations, that
they would impose on us.
Make
my dreams come true, in
the evanescence’s of my life.
