In honor of a fellow brother John Villanueva and all of my Wolfhound brothers 3/27 Battalion 7th infA Poem by ronIn Honor of all my original Army brothers. In
honor of a fellow brother John
Villanueva and all of my Wolfhound brothers 3/27 Battalion 7th inf Light, Ft. Ord, California for
finding their way back to us
In
the days and nights we spent at the planet, we
had each other’s back.
But
in the times after those days and nights, we
can feel so alone and kicked to the curb, and
made to survive beyond what they taught us.
For
those who have found their way back, and
those who still need to find the path, we
have never forgotten you and what you to us.
Wither
it was… a
cold winter night standing guard, a
hot summers day with no shade, or
just alone when the chips were down… I
always looked to my fellow Wolfhound brothers, to
help me through the beat down life gave and is still giving me.
For
without all of you, I
would have taken my life.
John
Villanueva, and
my fellow Wolfhound brothers, thank
you for saving my life.
