Across the blue seas,

I feel you.

 

Across time I hear your heart.

 

I believe in your love,

I sigh for your love.

 

And in the winters love my passion grows stronger,

…how could it not?

 

Your words cut deep,

cutting deeper than any feeling.

 

But I have hope that you will see,

the love I hold for you.

 

In my dreams you are the daughter,

dancing in the fields of flowers,

and I am your father,

and not just when you need me…

 

What am I to do when you shut me out?

 

I will love you past the stars,

beyond the dreams of wishing,.

I need you more than words can ever proclaim.

you are what I dreamed of love to be.

 

You shut the door once again,
