Passion at the edgeA Poem by ronPassion
at the edge
Was
it the way your body moved as you lay sleeping, was
it your scent that clarified my passion and inundated the sheets, or
was it my own desires that compelled me to kiss you softly?
You
stirred with each soft kiss, I
placed upon your naked body.
The
moonlight caressed the edges of your soul, as
my fingers softly traced each curve of your beauty.
My
tears of love made heart shaped droplets, lovingly
planted across your skin, that
I prayed would find their way to your heart.
I
closed my eyes and inhaled all of who you are, I
savored each sensation as if it were the last moments of my life.
Afraid
to open my eyes I fall asleep, and
awake to an empty bed. © 2015 ronReviews
