A slow moving night

A slow moving night

A Poem by ron

A slow moving night

Take my heart into your song,

make it sing slow and steady.

Make me feel your love slowly,

as we wake in the early morning light.

I feel your love on a full moons night,

feeling your love with each heartbeat.

Take your dull and edgy night,

make it cut through my soul,

and let it bleed my love for you.

Could you hear my breathe on your face,

or was it the jackals and runners that stopped you feelings?

The ones that kept your sweet love from me,

the ones that kept the lies.

Could you perish knowing that I was still alive?

My sweet desire,

wrapped in a dream,

covered in slow love.

My sheets soaking wet,

with the desire you left me.

My scent covered across the bed.

As I wake your scent covers my fading memories,

and the knife of your passion cuts my soul,

making me dream once again on a slow moving night.
