Only when she goes

 

 

In the distant loves heartbeat,

a sigh feels the breath of another.

 

In the dreams of another,

 you feel the touch of a true love never met.

 

Feel the light when it’s down low,

the touch of fingers caressing your body.

 

And sighs feel through your body,

when the moonlight touches your soul,

you begged her to feel what you could not touch.

 

Cry out in inner pain when she has left you,

how she left the empty in a heart that was full.

 

Now in pain you dive deep into your heart break.

 

Again the pain takes you in its tide and draws you out to the sea of lost love and heartbreak again.

 

As each night’s dream touches your soul,

you hold her as long as you can,

but in the end you let her go.

 

You let her go in the hopes that she will see your love for her,

in the end she will always leave.

 

Each night you dream of a love never known,

how she passes by never touching your heart,

never feeling your love,

never saying those three words…

those three words…
