This is the battle for our soulsA Poem by ronThis
is the battle for our souls
Words
of 300 - First Battle Scene
“This
is where we hold them, this
is where we fight, this
is where THEY die.”
Upon
shields and spears, we
fight and die.
Upon
the sword they shall parish, for
they came to me in gleaming armor, spears
and swords born of blood.
To
this I say, “Let
no man or woman ask me to give them to their faith,” for
I will give them what they asked for!!!
Let
not the beat of their drums or the cut of their swords, sway
my steadfastness.
For
if it is death you ask for, than
it is death I shall give you.
And
death you will reap.
Upon
my brothers and sisters blood, I
will show how you will never take what you do not own.
Hold, hold… and
non shall see us for less than who we are.
They
shall see us, as
a force to fear.
It
is the conviction of our righteousness, that
makes us strong, against
all enemies foreign and domestic. © 2015 ronReviews
