You took my heart

You took my heart

A Poem by ron

You took my heart

You took my heart by storm,

and showed me how to love again.

You made it sigh, flutter, and breathe,

you showed me how to feel,

and recite the words of love.

You took your love and placed it at my feet,

now I bow to you each and every night.

For a love without you is nothing more than,

an empty shell.

I will forever love you,

and in my heart you helped the wall,

transform from stone to love.

A garden once dead is full of life again,

full of colors and scents,

full of feelings of love and not regret.

For this is the gift you gave me,

I am forever in your debt.

Truly, truly beautiful Ron. Someone having that affect and managing to help open your heart should be proud; we don't tend to open our hearts once it has been broken a few times.

I love this part - I will forever love you, and in my heart you helped the wall, transform from stone to love.

I do to, it is a gift that makes us feel warm, complete, somehow understood. If that makes sense.
