For a thousand yearsA Poem by ronFor a thousand years
How could I? A thousand years I wanted and prayed for you, I begged and wished for, you.
I died for those years, a thousand years and more.
Colors, heart beats and worlds collide, one step closer.
We have died a thousand years, for each other.
But could we hold the thousand years, for each other, when we are so different?
My heart sighs and cries because I could not hold, your heart.
Along the path of our heart, I will love you for a thousand years.
One step closer to your heart, that I have no right to be next to.
Will you throw me away or will you remain my friend? Will you be the one I can count on when all others have left?
Time for us stands still, yet continues to move forward.
We are friends now, but is that enough or do you need more?
A thousand years I dreamed of having a friend like you, but for a thousand years you wished for more.
For a thousand years you are my true friend, a friend that dreams are made of, a friend that means more to me than a lover.
But is that enough for you, could you hold me as a friend for a thousand years, could you be that and more?
You are beauty past a thousand years, a thousand breathes.
A thousand heart beats, a thousand close kisses.
Could you be my friend, could you be a thousand heart beats of a friend?
For a thousand years I will hold you in my heart. For a thousand heart beats you will be in my heart.
I died every day for you, and I will die a thousand years more for you.
But friendship for me that has turned to love, will forever die a thousand times.
Be my friend for a thousand years.
