In the warmth of a winter’s night

In the warmth of a winter’s night

A Poem by ron

In the warmth of a winter’s night

And the star lighted a path to,

the child of kings.

Angels watched over him,

as their voices warmed the hearts of all who listened that night.

In the arms of his mother Mary,

the child gave hope in those dark times.

Kings bowed,

as shepherds prayed for the child king.

As the night drew on,

a small shepherd boy came close with the only gift he had.

“Will you accept my gift dear sweet Jesus?”

As the child king smiled,

the little boy played his drum.

On that night a king was born,

to bring peace and love to all.

The smallest of gifts given with love,

will make kings of us all.

Thank you for visiting Benita.
And god bless you and your family.
song wouldn't work for me.. I dunno why... this is a heartwarming piece indeed. .I love the last stanza.. I was always taught, it is the thought that counts.. and still believe it.. intention counts.. it is what is in your heart, not what you say or do that matters to me... well done.
