The Devils riders

The Devils riders

A Poem by ron

The devil's riders

They ride,

collecting souls that have escaped from hell.

They are known as the devil's riders,

herding escaped souls back to hell.

A rancher saw them…only one rancher ever did and lived to tell the tale,

now the rancher waits in fear of the day when he will join the devil's riders.

Across the fields you see lightning and thunder,

but that rancher knows it’s,

the devils’ riders catching another escaped soul.

Horses snorting fire and their brands burn hot with the devil's fire.

So save your soul and change your ways,

lest you join the devil's riders.

Across the land they ride,

with hot branded huffs,

and humanity empty in their eyes.

Their cry could be heard on the midnight winds,

a mournful cry heard,

as the riders collect another escaped soul.

Some of you have heard them as…

“Ghost Riders”…

But they are called,

“The devil's Riders”
