Who was IA Poem by ronWho
was I
Turn
in the light of the moonlight, turn
but the best of lights that shine…
Could
you stay when it hurts?
The
embrace, the
heart that beats, the
kiss never given, the
never that was never given.
But
the memories that hurt deep in the memories, of
what could have been.
Don’t
forget what love, was.
Didn’t
forget the look on my face, when
you turned to him.
I
held my head low, and
understood I was never what you wanted, I
was never that moment in your life.
I
was never, never, the
heart that beat for you.
My
heart beats for the sunrise of your love, it
waits in the shadows that hurt, in
the sunlight’s haze.
My
heart and face was never what you wanted, I
understand what your love means.
Sometimes
it hurts more than you or I know, but
we continue on with life.
My
biggest hugs, may
they let you continue on.
