A thousand teardrops

A thousand teardrops

A thousand teardrops

A thousand years of love alone,

a thousand years of heart breaking tears.

Step closer,

would you hold me…

for a thousand years?

Would you kiss me in the moon light,

when my tears fall to the floor?

Would your heart beat just as strong,

when you could only read my words,

would it beat as strong when we finally embrace?

I have died over and over,

for a thousand years.

My life and breath are yours,

they belong to you…

for a thousand years, and more.

One step closer,

slowly, step by step,

my heart beats,

unable to breath,

unable to feel you,

unable to feel your touch.

A thousand years I will wait,

a thousand years my heart will beat for you,

a thousand years my tears will fall to the floor.

Each tear I will gather,

and place in a locket,

each tear I will gift to you,

in the moonlight,

drop by drop I will collect them all…

to prove my love for you.

A thousand years are trapped,

in one tear drop.

I have cried a thousand tears for your love.
