Cracks in my heart

Cracks in my heart

A Poem by ron

Cracks in my heart

They grow,

just a little at a time.

When I lie down and try to close my eyes,

the cracks show me who I really am.

They bleed softly,

but the pain never dulls.

These cracks that grow,

a little at a time.

I tried to stop,

tried not to feel,

tried to tell myself it was never real.

For them it was a passing phase,

for me it became,

another crack to feel.

I'm so sorry you have to feel this way ron. Love/lost love can often hurt as bad as grief.
