Somethin bout to happenA Poem by ronSomethin
bout to happen
Stand
back; about to explode with a verse or two... Could
you look better if you were wrapped in my love?
Money
in my hands, hand
over fist.
In
the bayou, you
took my love and buried it deep.
Now
a hurricane bout to happen in my heart, tornado
took it to the surface.
Stand
back girl… my
heart rules my body not your whims.
Take
a breath in and smell what passion is in the moonlight over the swamp. Take
your hurricane parties and times it by twelve, that’s
my love in the dark.
Take
my love into the light, you
might see who I am.
Take
your hurricane of love and put it on hold. You
got nothen on what passionate love feels like.
Take
hold my hand and don’t let go, let’s
take this ride to the end, take
it to the shooting star that trails a comet.
Take
it as far as you can, and
give it some more.
That’s
where I am, tearing
it up in New Orleans. © 2014 ronAuthor's Note
