I loved you from afar,

too far to make me worth your time.

 

You stole my heart and loved me dearly,

is it any wonder I still dream of you?

 

I was lost and without love,

but you felt my heart and held it close.

 

You gave me a gift I can never repay,

you gave me the gift of love on that day.

 

I will hold you in my heart,

until the day I die.

 

But another you will find,

his love will make your world shine.

 

I am too old to hold you close,

I have nothing to offer.

 

So off to love with you,

make him feel love like he has never felt it before.

 

If I could grant only one wish,

it would be that you find your true love.

oh Ron, this is heart-wrenching... reminds me of a quote that says something like, true love is putting another one's happiness ahead of your own... that is what this piece says to me... sometimes, no matter how much we wish otherwise, we are not meant to be with someone with whom we desire... sucks, don't I know it... this piece tugged on my heart and made me FEEL, well done...

I fear I have lost her, but in my heart she still breaths the love that was. I know she is gone but my love for her will always be there. May she find the love I could not give, feel the heart beat of her true love against her lips, but most importantly may she fall in love with her sweet prince.
