Coming down from the edge

Coming down from the edge

A Poem by ron

Coming down from the edge

I lie nestled in your embrace,

my heart still beating fast.

You hold my trembling body,

running your fingers through my hair,

whispering…

“shh it will be alright, I love you”.

You took me to me edge and back so many times,

I lost track somewhere in the night.

You made love to me,

and made me feel special.

You encouraged me to continue,

even when I begged you to stop,

my begging only made you want me more,

yes I knew it and wanted you more for it.

Now in your arms my emotions pour out,

you kissed me softly and allowed me to cry.

For a muse shows us the things that we cannot see. The side of the heart that beats for her eternally. A muse need not be female, male or person. A muse may merely be that which captivates coercion. The thing inside that eyes can find to translate thought to word. That which brings, close to mind, meaning in the absurd. We so cleverly veil within ourselves, that which shows us weak. Our muse brings out all that makes us meek. We see though eyes unburdened by the chains of shackled personality. Our muse brings out the temperance of individuality. Captivated by our muse, triumphantly sweet in grandeur. We are inspired to continue, to push on, to endure. By realmwriter 2014

Now enough about me. As you can see this piece inspired me and when I find myself inspired, I must write, lest I forget. You certainly know how to strike a chord and I am sure that whomever this is meant for knows exactly how you feel. Awesome write my friend.

Well then friends we are.
The softer side of ron, acceptance in our vulnerabilities makes love so much sweeter. I like the tender pink underbelly of this one. :)
